I will be dead soon.......................

Now I know the world will end 12/21/12..........No more Hostess goodies.......nothing to live for...........

Forward In Time!!!!

Okay, so I don't have any idea of what I'm doing with this Livejournal account and just to prove it, my calender has been stuck in February of 2010.  Hopefully posting this will catch me up with the real world.  Maybe I don't want to catch up.....real life is looking rather bleak right now as far as job possibilities right now.

Wish me luck that this works.

Help! Anyone!?

Hi anyone.  It's been awhile since I last wrote.  Mostly because my computer needed replacing.  My wonderful son-in-law made me a new one, it's so tiny and cute.  But now that I'm back online I've discovered that when the Breyer folks have a poll about Breyer models, all I get are the results and not the actual voting part so I can't voice my opinion.  I used to be able to vote before.  Anyone out there know what settings might have got changed when I started up the new computer?  I'd really love to be able to vote for favorite Breyer models and such.
Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

A Kennel From Long Ago

Does anyone know of, or everheard of, an Alaskan Malamute Kennel in Michigan called Sikoa's?  I'm wondering what happened to it, if anyone knows.  I'll appreciate any help.

Customizing Breyers

Hi!  Can anyone tell me the best way to strip down a Breyer model, down to the white plastic, for customizing?  Thanks for any help.

Newbie's First Post *scary*

Please be patient, I hope I'm doing this right.  I thought I'd finally get brave and try to post something.

It's been fun reading posts about Malamutes and seeing the wonderful pictures.  I've been out of the dog world for many years.  I'm an old lady now with no dog of my own anymore, but I still love them.  Used to show mals and it was some of the best years of my life.  Even sledded a few times.   Any others out there remember "Northern Dog News" and/ or "Malamute Tales"?  For several years I had cartoons and some artwork in them, even a story once.   Those were great times with wonderful dogs.  Wish I knew how to stick a picture of my old lady dog in here.

So here's my first post to this scary newfangled computer journal.
