Customizing Breyers

Hi!  Can anyone tell me the best way to strip down a Breyer model, down to the white plastic, for customizing?  Thanks for any help.

It's not something I personally have experience in, but I did a quick search and found this site, where somebody details stripping a model before describing a dappling technique:
http://www.lucky-seven.com/120-2.html

Also found a blog from somebody who has their own opinion on stripping models:
http://modelhorse.blogspot.com/

And finally, if you get really miffed, I think this palces offers a stripping service:

Hope that helps, missy :)

Thank you sooo much!! This should help alot. I was fired from my job, 10 days short of 20 years,(rat bastards)so I'm going to try my hand at customizing horses. I've been told I'm a decent artist, we'll see. And I understood the spelling opps, do it all the time. Thanks.

And just to clarify my lack of proof-reading skills and Livejournal's own lack of editing functions, "palces" was supposed to read "place".
I am a silly girl...
